Their are alternatives to medical training that you may not have thought of but you would want to remember such as phlebotomy certification. Some hospitals in your area may offer you scholarships and immediate job placement after you graduate. This is something to look into before you spend all of your own money on your education, but the hospitals in your area may not offer that.
It depends on how long you want to be in school for or if you want to skip school and just go straight to getting a certification. Their are things you have to think about, which are you have to decide if you want to go to school for two years, eight years, nine months, or you may not want to go to school at all and just get some training in.
If the school you have chosen is no where near where you live, then that’s just something you’re going to have to deal with. Either have your parents help you out if you’re younger and just starting out or you can save up money that you have been saving and get an apartment close to where you would be going to school.
If you live in a big city, you should not have a problem finding a school that’s closer to you because their are tons of schools around you that would be a good fit for you and if you’re not sure what school you should go to that matches what you want to go for, then ask an adviser while you’re at the school. They will be able to tell you more about their school and what kinds of programs they have to offer.
Once you get there to talk to someone, you may have feel like you have wasted your time because they may give you a card so you can go on their website and apply for one if they have it. Then again it may not be a waste of time for you because you at least accomplished something. You received a business card with some information on it and now you do not have to go back there and ask them the same questions.
You may feel that you’re too old to get started on your career so you might want go into training for nine months and get a degree for the one thing you’re planning on going for too start your career. This would be the fastest way to get out of school, but the thing is is that you may not want to rush into something like this and take your time.
Going to a university means you might be going for assisting, office management, or nursing. Any other careers will be offered at a trade school or maybe you will be able to find a school that offers only certifications to get through it faster.
