Standards of Excellence
Well known for the excellence of their programmes in education, sports and arts, MMU Cheshire offers a broad selection of diploma, degree, postgraduate and professional subjects. These subjects can be studied on a full or part-time basis. The university’s Sport Development Unit also has an array of sport based short courses available.
Location of the campus
The Cheshire campus grounds are in Crewe. Theatres, cinemas and popular pubs and bars can be found in the bustling town of Crewe. The campus is in a very convenient location, with a railway station very close by and within walking distance.
There facilities at MMU Cheshire campus are excellent, with state of the art performance studios and top notch student accommodation. There are, very handily, bars, shops and restaurants close to the campus.
At the Axis Arts Centre, on campus, there is a programme of touring performance and visual art works on display for the public. Also, on campus (and nearby) there is a selection of great sporting facilities available.
The campus is unique in that it hosts a large selection of facilities and is also able to maintain a friendly atmosphere in which students feel part of a community.
There is so much on offer in Cheshire and the surrounding areas, from a range of shops, student cafes and bars to beautiful, tranquil gardens. Not too far from the campus are the mountains of North Wales and the Peak District which are ideal for students who enjoy the outdoors.
Once graduated, a number of students, having fallen for the area, will go on to look for Cheshire jobs. With the well rounded university education that you will receive at MMU Cheshire, there is no reason why you would not be able to find a job and settle down in this stunning area.
